Lawrence was a larger than life character. He had a fantastic sense of humour and we would always have a great laugh together. He was a typical older brother. We would fight and argue but he was always there for me. We would have great fun winding our Mum up and we worked well together doing this! He was one for the ladies, as they say! and he always had a girl or two on the go. Today I was reading his diary from 1989 when he went traveling and he writes that he has to stop writing as a good looking girl was flashing her legs at him! He enjoyed writing and was attending a writing course before he died. He loved music and liked writing songs. Unfortunately he also had a lot of demons to deal with and he caused our parents a lot of heart ache. His answer to a lot of his problems was to run away and he did this the year he died. It was awful not knowing where he was and we all went through a rough few months worrying about him.
